Entrepreneurs are vital to making the world a better place. Unicorn is on a mission to make more good ideas into reality.
Do you have an idea to tackle any of today’s (or tomorrow’s!) numerous national security and defense related challenges? Does that idea strengthen and support democratic institutions? Then the NRPE Program is looking for you.

Unicorn Strategies’ Non-Resident Public Entrepreneur Program provides a small cohort of creative problem solvers and their ideas with the institutional resources and expert community to incubate and accelerate impact-focused programs, processes, and systems. Pairing NRPE with Advisors to help guide their growth over 15-months, they will be surrounded by on-their-side experts ready to help them do the right thing the right way and navigate the real challenges of adoption and implementation - including securing funding and investment as appropriate.

What’s the Goal?
NPRE’s are a big part of how Unicorn Strategies scales and builds solutions that deserve to thrive. We can’t (and shouldn’t) boil the ocean, but we can be the scaffolding for hundreds of living coral reefs!
We want to get in on the ground (or close to ground) floor of a good idea and help make it happen. Whether that’s supporting a campaign to get two-factor authentication into every home in America, facilitate virtual training for Ukrainian truck drivers to better navigate a combat-impacted environment, a data screening tool to counter human trafficking, or something completely different - we’re interested.
Why Does Unicorn Do This?
We know from our own experience how hard building stuff is, and it’s even harder alone. We think people who want to make the world a better place deserve as much meaningful support as we can muster. It’s our hope that projects maintain a formal or informal connection with Unicorn Strategies at the end of the program - but only if it makes sense.
