Announcing Unicorn Strategies "Soft Launch"
Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Mentors,
I hope you are all rested, recharged, and ready for what comes next.
To this end, I am excited to officially announce the "soft launch" of Unicorn Strategies (US), an innovative start-up at the intersection of business, policy, and security. You can learn about what we do, and the team at our website (which is still a work in progress, but functional nonetheless!).
My work at American Security Project will continue and I am grateful for ASP's blessing in this new venture. I look forward to augmenting, amplifying, and scaling ASP's important work.
Unicorn Strategies will allow me greater flexibility and opportunities outside of ASP's projects. Most importantly, it brings together an incredible group of women into a single entity. These women, whom I look forward to introducing in the coming days, represent some of the brightest young minds in DC. With a wealth of experience across all branches and levels of government, from time on campaigns to committee staff, policy wonks and political operatives, speechwriters and researchers, the sky's the limit. I could not be more honored to call them friends, peers, and now- partners.
We are excited to start this new journey together and hope you'll be along for the ride. With this in mind, I humbly ask for:
1) Your Feedback. Check out our website and let us know what you think. You might notice we're currently hiring an intern- please feel free to spread the word!
2) Your Referrals. Spread the word. Know of a flag officer or senior civilian leader who could use some assistance in their transition? Send them our way. If you've spotted a challenge and looking to turn it into an opportunity, let me know.
3) Your Time. On Friday, April 14th Unicorn Strategies will throw its Official Launch Bash at a venue to be determined. While still several months away, it is our hope to celebrate our first round of successes among friends. I hope you can join us.
